Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, SC), 2-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Jefferson Davis Academy advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Raiders host King's Academy (Florence, SC) to play the Lions in a SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 25. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 3-4.
The Eagles now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host King's Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Conway Christian will play a Lions team coming off a 66-0 league loss to Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
