The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS) and the host Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS), witnessed Topeka's football squad knock off Junction City by a tally of 32-20.

The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manhattan (Manhattan, KS). The Indians enter the Centennial contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Manhattan gained a win over Northwest (Wichita, KS), 38-17, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bluejays battle the Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) in a Centennial contest, on Friday, October 18. Junction City will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Blues enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 53-8 league win over Emporia (Emporia, KS).
