In Friday's league bout, the host Midland Legacy Rebels football team scored a tight 42-36 win over the San Angelo Central Bobcats.

With the win, Midland Legacy advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Rebels host Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a 6A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, October 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Frenship won 48-47 in their recent league bout against Midland (Midland, TX)

The Bobcats now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Permian for a 6A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, October 18. San Angelo Central will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 50-26 league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-0.
