The Narrows Green Waves felled the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues football team by a score of 35-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Waves face the Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Narrows will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 26-14 league win over Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA).

The Fighting Blues (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Craig County (New Castle, VA). The Rockets go into the Pioneer challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Craig County toppled Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA), 58-0, in a league challenge.
