The Pine Island Panthers walloped the host Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs football team by a score of 42-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Caledonia Warriors (Caledonia, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Pine Island will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 21-20 league loss to Triton (Dodge Center, MN).
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars go into the South - East Red challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Zumbrota-Mazeppa smashed Lourdes (Rochester, MN), 14-7, in a league bout.
