The Putnam County Midgets felled the host Scotland County Tigers football team by a score of 26-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Midgets face the Gallatin/Tri-County (Gallatin, MO) in a Grand River challenge, on Friday, October 18. Putnam County will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 38-12 league loss to Milan (Milan, MO).
The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal City (Crystal City, MO). The Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Crystal City toppled Duchesne (St. Charles, MO), 22-7, in a league challenge.
