The Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), 6-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Vineyarders now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Williams for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 12.

With the loss, Barnstable moves to 1-7 on the year. The Red hawks host Falmouth (Falmouth, MA) to encounter the Clippers in a Cape and Islands- Atlantic challenge on Tuesday, October 15. The Clippers go into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
