In Friday's league outing, the host Four Rivers Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the McLoughlin Pioneers.

The Falcons (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights enter the 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Irrigon tipped Nyssa (Nyssa, OR), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Pioneers confront the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 outing, on Saturday, October 12. McLoughlin will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 6-4 record after their 1-1 league Grant Union (John Day, OR).
