In Friday's non-league outing, the host Oil City Oilers soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the West Middlesex Big Reds.

The Oilers (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Bulldogs go into the District 10 Region 6 outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Meadville by Warren (Warren, PA), 8-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Big Reds confront the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 outing, on Tuesday, October 15. West Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 7-6 record after their 7-1 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
