St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Sturgis West Navigators (Hyannis, MA), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. John Paul II advances its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Monomoy (Harwich, MA) to clash with the Sharks in a Cape and Islands- Lighthouse test on Tuesday, October 15. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 0-4.

The Navigators now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nantucket for a Cape and Islands- Lighthouse test on Tuesday, October 15.
