In Friday's league outing, the visiting Lower Cape May Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Buena Chiefs.

The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Regional (Blackwood, NJ). The Tartans go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Highland Regional was edged by Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Chiefs play the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Buena will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ).
