North Carolina High School Soccer - NCSSM: Durham nudges East Wake Academy

In Friday's league outing, the visiting NCSSM: Durham Unicorns soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the East Wake Academy Eagles.
The Unicorns (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Raptors go into the Super Six 1A/2A outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Research Triangle was edged by Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Raleigh Charter Phoenix (Raleigh, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A battle, on Monday, October 14. East Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Phoenix enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
