The McLoughlin Pioneers smashed the host Four Rivers Falcons soccer team by a tally of 8-0 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Pioneers face the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 game, on Saturday, October 12. McLoughlin will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Prescott (Prescott, WA).
The Falcons (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights come into the 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Irrigon was overwhelmed by Nyssa (Nyssa, OR), 2-0, in a league game.
