Fans at Friday's league battle between the Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) and the host Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC), saw Franklin Academy's soccer squad knock off Research Triangle by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Woods Charter tipped Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Raptors battle the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A battle, on Monday, October 14. Research Triangle will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Unicorns enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC).
