In Friday's league outing, the host St. Augustine Prep Hermits soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Vineland Fighting Clan.
The Hermits (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Cedar Creek by Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Fighting Clan confront the Cherry Hill East Cougars (Cherry Hill, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 17. Vineland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ).
