In Friday's non-league test, the Nixa Eagles (Nixa, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO), by a tally of 13-3.

Next, the Eagles meet the Neosho Wildcats (Neosho, MO) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 14. Nixa will attempt to advance on its 13-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 17-12 record after their 4-3 league win over Webb City (Webb City, MO).

The Jays (16-12) will now prepare for their test against Raytown South (Raytown, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Raytown South was routed by St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO), 8-6, in a non-league test.
