Kentucky High School Volleyball - Highlands tips Blazer

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Highlands Bluebirds volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Blazer Tomcats.

The Bluebirds (25-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 18-11 record. In their last challenge, Montgomery County got by Paris (Paris, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tomcats meet the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 11. Blazer will attempt to upgrade on its 23-6 season record. The Generals enter the match with a 21-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY).
