The Eagles now have a 26-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maud for a 2A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, October 15. Detroit will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 20-14.

With the loss, Rivercrest drops to 11-15 on the campaign. The Rebels host Bowie (Simms, TX) to play the Pirates in a 2A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 3-13.
