First Baptist Christian Eagles (Lafayette, LA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting John Paul the Great Academy Guardians (Lafayette, LA), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, First Baptist Christian advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 10-4. Christian Home Educators Fellowship lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Open Door Christian Academy (Denham Springs, LA)
The Guardians now sport a 6-7 record.
