The Friendswood Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Texas City Stingarees to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 31-7 record. They play next when they host Ball for a 5A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, October 15. Friendswood will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 league win over La Porte (La Porte, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 17-18.

With the loss, Texas City drops to 9-19 on the season. The Stingarees travel to Ball (Galveston, TX) to face the Tornadoes in a 5A Region III District 20 test on Tuesday, October 22. The Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 17-18.
