Fans at Friday's league contest between the Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY) and the visiting Marion Black Knights (Marion, NY), observed Gananda Central's volleyball team hold off Marion by a tally of 3-2.

The Blue Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY). The Golden Eagles enter the Section 5 Wayne County contest with a 8-4 record.

Next, the Black Knights meet the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Rochester (East Rochester, NY).
