Texas High School Volleyball - Orangefield over Kountze

In Friday's league challenge, the host Orangefield Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Kountze Lions.

The Bobcats (23-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Buna (Buna, TX). The Cougars enter the 3A Region III District 22 challenge with a 12-20 record. In their last challenge, Buna was beaten by Hardin (Hardin, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Kountze will attempt to upgrade on its 6-21 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 14-19 record after their 3-0 league loss to Anahuac (Anahuac, TX).
