Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) and the visiting Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD), observed Little Wound's volleyball team top Lakota Tech by a tally of 2-0.

The Mustangs (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Sioux enter the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Lower Brule was beaten by Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tatanka meet the Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Lakota Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 17-10 season record. The Wambdi enter the contest with a 4-18 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Webster (Webster, SD).
