The Spartans (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Madison West (Madison, WI). The Regents enter the Big Eight battle with a 17-9 record. In their last battle, Madison West achieved victory over Hartford (Hartford, WI), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Lancers now own a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waukesha South for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. Madison La Follette will encounter a Blackshirts squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West (, WI). The Blackshirts record now stands at 7-14.
