Kalaheo Mustangs (Kailua, HI) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Pearl City Chargers (Pearl City, HI), 35-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Kalaheo advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kalani (Honolulu, HI) to confront the Falcons in a OIA II match on Saturday, October 18. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 5-5. Kalani won 30-13 in their recent league match against McKinley (Honolulu, HI)

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Castle Knights (Kaneohe, HI) in a OIA II battle, on Friday, October 17. Pearl City will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 53-14 league win over Waialua (Waialua, HI).
