Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) and the host Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA), saw Slippery Rock's soccer squad knock off Greenville by a count of 2-0.

The Rockets (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Grove City (Grove City, PA). The Eagles enter the District 10 Region 2 battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Grove City by Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 match, on Monday, October 13. Greenville will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 1-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
