In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Guilford Grizzlies soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Lyman Hall Trojans.
The Grizzlies (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hand (Madison, CT). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Hand edged Hamden (Hamden, CT), 7-0, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host West Haven for a non-league test on Monday, October 13. Lyman Hall will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Law (Milford, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.
