The Coastal Academy Stingrays volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Orange Glen Patriots to 1 in the Stingrays non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Stingrays now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guajome Park Academy for a game on Tuesday, October 14. Coastal Academy will confront a Frogs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Calvin Christian (Escondido, CA). The Frogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Valley Center was tipped by El Camino (Oceanside, CA), 2-0, in a league game.
