The Bishop Walsh Spartans smashed the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, October 13. Bishop Walsh will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Southern (Oakland, MD).
With the loss, Chestnut Ridge moves to 2-13 on the year. The Lions host Richland (Johnstown, PA) to play the Rams in a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Monday, October 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Richland lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA)
