In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Loyalsock Township Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Shamokin Area Indians.
The Lancers (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Wellsboro by Montoursville (Montoursville, PA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Indians confront the Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 14. Shamokin Area will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Black Knights go into the outing with a 4-13 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Meadowbrook Christian (Milton, PA).
