In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Monroe Central Seminoles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Oak Glen Golden Bears.
The Seminoles (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Crusaders enter the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Catholic Central was edged by St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Golden Bears confront the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 13. Oak Glen will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Monarchs come into the test with a 9-8 record after their 2-2 non-league Preston (Kingwood, WV).
