In Saturday's league challenge, the host Columbia Central Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Addison Panthers.

With the win, Columbia Central improves its record to 17-12 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Homer (Homer, MI) to face the Trojans in a Cascades test on Tuesday, October 14. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 19-14. Homer won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Onsted (Onsted, MI)

The Panthers now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vandercook Lake for a Cascades test on Tuesday, October 14. Addison will face a Jayhawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Jayhawks record now stands at 0-16.
