Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL). The Dragons enter the non-league challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Florida School for the Deaf & Blind beat Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Silent Warriors meet the Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL) in a 1A Area 8 challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Alabama School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 25-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to James Clemens (Madison, AL).
