In Saturday's non-league match, the Grantsburg Pirates (Grantsburg, WI) volleyball squad tipped the host Amery Warriors (Amery, WI), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Frederic Vikings (Frederic, WI) in a Lakeland - West match, on Thursday, October 16. Grantsburg will attempt to move on its 25-6 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 10-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI).
