California High School Volleyball - Oakdale can't hold off Big Valley Christian

In Saturday's non-league match, the Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) volleyball team held off the visiting Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Lions now possess a 21-8 record. They play next when they travel to Riverbank for a Mother Lode League bout on Tuesday, October 14. Big Valley Christian will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Linden (Linden, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 5-12.
With the loss, Oakdale drops to 11-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Sierra (Manteca, CA) to clash with the Timberwolves in a Valley Oak League bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a record of 6-17. Sierra lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)
