Illinois High School Volleyball - Bloomington Central Catholic edged by Normal University

The Bloomington Central Catholic Saints volleyball squad (Bloomington, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL)

With the win, Normal University improves its record to 26-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to encounter the Titans in a Central State Eight battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 23-3. Glenwood won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL)

Next, the Saints meet the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Bloomington Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 26-5 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 8-16 record after their 2-0 league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL).
