Kentucky High School Volleyball - Bracken County can't hold off Washington County

October 11, 2025: Brooksville, KY 41004

The Washington County Commanders tipped the host Bracken County Polar Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Commanders confront the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 13. Washington County will attempt to advance on its 11-14 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 13-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Marion County (Lebanon, KY).

The Polar Bears (24-6) will now prepare for their bout against Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY). The Titans come into the non-league bout with a 27-4 record. In their last bout, Trinity Christian Academy was nudged by Henry County (New Castle, KY), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
