Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) and the host Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL), observed Marion County's volleyball team top Brilliant by a count of 2-0.

The Red Raiders (15-16) will now prepare for their contest against Phillips (Bear Creek, AL). The Bears go into the non-league battle with a 0-16 record. In their last battle, Phillips dropped by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Winfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 11. Brilliant will battle a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Phillips (Bear Creek, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 9-8.
