In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Reese Rockets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Brown City Green Devils.

The Rockets (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Patriots enter the Greater Thumb - West challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Unionville-Sebewaing was beaten by Millington (Millington, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Green Devils meet the Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Brown City will attempt to upgrade on its 17-21 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lutheran North (Macomb, MI).
