In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Chicago Academy Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Prosser Falcons.
The Cougars (18-2) will now prepare for their test against Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Chicago Hope Academy was defeated by St. Edward (Elgin, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Village for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Prosser will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Morgan Park (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-5.
