The Clinton Cougars volleyball squad scored 2 points and limited the visiting Racine Lutheran Crusaders to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 11. Clinton will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Cheesemakers enter the match with a 6-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI).
The Crusaders (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against Big Foot (Walworth, WI). The Chiefs go into the non-league battle with a 5-19 record. In their last battle, Big Foot was edged by Evansville (Evansville, WI), 3-2, in a league battle.
