The Comeaux Spartans prevailed the host New Iberia Yellowjackets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA) in a Division II District 4 match, on Tuesday, October 14. Comeaux will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record.
The Yellowjackets (8-22) will now prepare for their match against Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league match with a 6-12 record. In their last match, Franklin was outscored by Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA), 3-0, in a league match.
