The Cumberland Beavers volleyball squad (Cumberland, WI), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Menomonie Mustangs (Menomonie, WI)

The Mustangs (6-20) will now prepare for their contest against Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI). The Old Abes enter the Big Rivers contest with a 16-18 record. In their last contest, Eau Claire Memorial was knocked off by McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Beavers battle the Hayward Hurricanes (Hayward, WI) in a Heart O'North battle, on Tuesday, October 14. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 5-26 season record. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a 15-14 record after their 3-1 league win over Spooner (Spooner, WI).
