Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI) and the host Milton Red Hawks (Milton, WI), observed DeForest's volleyball team hold off Milton by a count of 2-1.
The Norskies (23-10) will now prepare for their contest against Watertown (Watertown, WI). The Goslings enter the non-league contest with a 22-4 record. In their last contest, Watertown got by Monona Grove (Monona, WI), 3-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Hawks encounter the McFarland Spartans (McFarland, WI) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 14. Milton will attempt to improve on its 20-12 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 16-19 record after their 2-1 league win over Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI).
