California High School Volleyball - Woodcreek tips Del Oro

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) and the host Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA), observed Woodcreek's volleyball team hold off Del Oro by a count of 2-1.
The Timberwolves (27-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, St. Ignatius College Preparatory tipped Valley Christian (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Golden Eagles now own a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davis Sr. for a Sierra Foothill League battle on Monday, October 13. Del Oro will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-14.
