Savanna Rebels (Anaheim, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Dominguez Dons (Compton, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels (3-25) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Dons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-15 record. In their last challenge, Dominguez was nudged by Bellflower (Bellflower, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Dons now sport a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Savanna for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Dominguez will face a Rebels squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-23.
