Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX) and the visiting Donna Redskins (Donna, TX), observed Pace's volleyball team top Donna by a count of 3-0.

The Vikings (27-7) will now prepare for their contest against Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Cowboys enter the 5A Region IV District 32 battle with a 13-19 record. In their last battle, Porter was defeated by Rivera (Brownsville, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Redskins now own a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weslaco East for a 5A Region IV District 32 battle on Tuesday, October 14. Donna will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lopez (Brownsville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-16.
