Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) and the visiting Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), observed St. Patrick-St. Vincent's volleyball team hold off Dublin by a count of 2-1.
The Bruins (11-20) will now prepare for their contest against Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Gaels go into the non-league battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Dublin tipped Livermore (Livermore, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Gaels now own a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Eden for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. Dublin will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-11.
