Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dutchtown advances its record to 16-8 on the season. The Griffins travel to Walker (Walker, LA) to face the Wildcats in a Division I District 5 test on Tuesday, October 14. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 9-15. Walker lost 3-0 in their recent league test against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA)

The Jaguars now sport a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Metairie Park Country Day for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15.
