In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Moline United Panthers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Rockridge Rockets.

The Panthers now have a 15-12 record. They play next when they host West Prairie for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. East Moline United will play a Cyclones team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Rockridge drops to 7-15 on the season. The Rockets host Mercer County (Aledo, IL) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, October 14. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 12-15. Mercer County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Princeton (Princeton, IL)
